Harvest Time
In any food or farming business, the real test is when harvest time arrives. Will all the hard work put in from the beginning of the Season pay off? I'm pleased to say that it looks like it. As you can see from the photo of some of our hives in our woodland apiary, the honey harvest is looking good, for which we are very thankful. We now start the hard job of taking off the boxes which are full of honey - and very heavy! However, we make sure that we leave each hive with more than enough honey for the upcoming Winter period.
